L.P. Johnson Family Health Center
The L.P. Johnson Family Health Center (FHC) is a comprehensive family medicine teaching facility associated with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford Family Medicine Residency Program.
The FHC is staffed with board-certified faculty physicians who supervise resident physicians. The presence of licensed nurse practitioners with advanced academic and clinical experience enhances delivery of quality care and education. Our staff speaks multiple languages.
We proudly offer university-level:
- General wellness, acute and chronic care for all ages
- Women’s health, including OB, endometrial biopsies, colposcopies, preventive and prenatal care
- Smoking cessation counseling
- Joint injections
- Toenail removal
- Minor wound care
- On-site lab, EKG and stress testing
Hours of Operation
The FHC is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Hospital Affiliations
The College of Medicine’s Family Medicine Residency Program enjoys a solid relationship with SwedishAmerican Health System.
